Brodsky Foundation donates toys to Head Start

The Richard M. Brodsky Foundation donated $3,000 in toys to the Five Towns Community Center and Felicia Grandy’s Operation Head Start Program in Lawrence on July 2.

Head Start is a program of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services that provides comprehensive early childhood education, health, nutrition, and parent involvement services to low-income children and their families.

Brodsky, an Atlantic Beach resident, is an HIV/AIDS and brain cancer survivor, who established his foundation to fight AIDS, help people with brain cancer and aid other organizations and institutions.
